Why
The 20th century pathway of school → university → career → retirement no longer works for a lot of young people or the changing world around them.
The 21st century requires getting comfortable with uncertainty, knowing what fulfils you, and where you can make an impact.
My purpose is to help young people develop these skills, while at the same time supporting them through the very real, practical tasks and transitions they're facing right now - whether that be choosing what subjects to study, writing a personal statement for a university application, or deciding how to plan a gap year.
How
I believe the best decisions start from the inside out: What genuinely matters to the person I’m working with? What are their strengths? What kind of life do they want to create?
Whether it's a 16-year-old feeling overwhelmed by university choices, an 18-year-old considering a gap year, or a 22-year-old stuck between multiple career paths, I’m here to help that young person to:
→ Clarify their values and what actually fulfils them
→ Identify their strengths and how to amplify them
→ Explore pathways beyond the "default route"
→ Navigate complex application processes
What
After working with me students develop:
→ Clarity on specific next steps and what action needs to be taken and when
→ An accountability system that they trust and that moves them forward
→ Decision-making frameworks and a new sense of confidence for navigating an increasingly uncertain world
Safety and Trust
As someone who has worked with young people for over a decade, having processes in place to make sure young people are safe and secure is paramount to my work. Please see here for more details.
