My work sits at the intersection of programme design, facilitation, and coaching. The common thread: helping people and organisations build the inner resources and outer structures to act from genuine values — not just habit or default.

Programme Design & Facilitation

For environmental, education, and careers-focused organisations that need an experienced outsider to design something new, redesign something that's stopped working, or facilitate the workshop or residential they can't run themselves.

Nine years directing Bright Green Future gave me a practical education in what makes a programme actually work — not just in theory, but for real people, over time, through funding cycles, staff changes, and shifting priorities.

What this typically looks like: Programme review and redesign · Curriculum and workshop development · Residential facilitation · Coaching programme design · Day rate; remote for design work, UK travel for facilitation.

Doctoral Researcher Wellbeing — Programme Design & Delivery

Between 2022 and 2024 I co-designed and delivered Resilience Through Nature at the University of Bristol — a nature-based coaching and resilience programme for postgraduate researchers, funded across two cohorts and featured in Times Higher Education.

That work demonstrated something the evidence already suggested: PGRs fall between the structures designed for undergraduates and those designed for staff, and they carry the pressures of both. Time in nature, properly structured, gives them something most doctoral support programmes don't — space to notice what's actually happening, and to reconnect with who they are beyond their research.

I'm now developing a standalone institutional version of this programme for UKRI Doctoral Training Partnerships, Centres for Doctoral Training, and Graduate Schools. If you're interested in what that could look like for your institution, I'd welcome a conversation.

Career Coaching for Young People

For young people aged 16–25 navigating the choices that feel biggest right now: university, gap years, early career, or something that doesn't have a name yet.

I spent nine years working with over 500 young people for whom the standard paths felt wrong, unclear, or simply overwhelming. My approach starts from what's actually true for the person — their values, their strengths, what kind of life they want to build — and works outward to the practical decisions from there.

Based in Barcelona, working with families in the international school community and beyond.
